Indian Math Online (IMO) is a web-based learning system developed with the
principles of mathematics as practiced throughout the Indian education system.
These principles include:
- Starting Early
- Testing Frequently
- Practicing Continuously
- Building Steadily
- Involving Parents
Actively
By following these five (5 ) steps, children in grades K-12 will learn mathematics
in a way that is challenging, practiced throughout the world, and proven.
While using our online system, children are assessed frequently, their weaknesses diagnosed and practice problems assigned.
Assess, Learn, Practice, Practice, Practice, and then, Assess again - all based on a solid, stable math standard.
That is our simple process for ensuring
that children become proficient in the most important
language of the 21st century - MATHEMATICS
!
And, unlike other learning programs, IMO gives parents the power to:
-
Assess your child's Math proficiency;
-
Walk your child through topic tutorials;
- Automatically
schedule reading assignments;
- Automatically
assign pratice problems;
- Automatically grade assessments and practices,
and, allow you to view every answer;
- Monitor your child's progress through
easy to understand reports.

How Does IMO Work?
Use of IMO begins with the Parent enrolling his or her child* with IMO.
You
will select two (2) login ID’s - one for the Parent and one for the Child. The Parent account is the master account which controls the scheduling of assessments and lessons.
Once logged in, Parents will be able to:
- Assign and schedule
assessments, practice lessons and reading assignments;
- Schedule practices problems and assignments from a previous grade,
OR for a higher grade level;
- View the
results of assessments, practice and reading assignments through easy to understand reports.
Children
will be able to:
- View and work
on their assessments, practice lessons and reading
assignments assigned by their parents;
- View their
lessons scheduled for
a particular day or week;
- Be guided
through math concepts with interactive illustrated/narrated
tutorials;
- Be provided
with written ‘Solution’ explanations for the problems that
they have gotten wrong;
* Children under the age of 13 are not permitted to enroll without their parents' permission.
